How do we begin?

Where do SLP appointments take place?
Our mobile speech-language pathology services offer flexible, on-site support in your home, daycare, or other community location (playgrounds, etc.). By providing therapy in natural environments, we enhance skill carryover, increase convenience for families, and create opportunities for meaningful, real-life communication practice.
Currently, we are only offering in-person SLP support in Canmore, however support is available in surrounding areas through teletherapy options.
How much are SLP services?
All services are billed at $150/hour for direct assessment and treatment sessions and additionally requested documentation. There is currently no travel fee for families within Canmore.
Payment and direct-billing
We currently take credit/debit submitted through our online booking system, and charged after the speech therapy appointment.
We currently do not offer direct billing for insurance; however, we plan to introduce this option in the future. In the meantime, we provide detailed invoices after each session for families to submit to their insurance provider.
Cancellation Policy
We know life can be unpredictable. Please notify us as soon as possible if you need to cancel. Missed sessions or cancellations with under 24 hours notice will be billed at the full session rate. Cancellations with more than 24 hours notice are not charged.
I value our time together and want to make sure you get the most out of your session. If you happen to arrive late, we will still need to end at our scheduled time to remain fair to the next client. The standard session fee will remain unchanged.
We understand that life happens; however, three consecutive cancellations or no-shows may result in the child being discharged from our active caseload to ensure our available time slots are supporting active treatment goals.

We love being a part of community events! Let us know about your event, and we would be happy to be part of it!
What does a typical assessment session look like?
Our assessment sessions use a combination of formal and informal measures to understand your child’s unique speech and language strengths and challenges. During the assessment, we may also gather information from parents and caregivers, observe communication during play, and begin discussing treatment goals and support options as able.
What does a typical treatment session look like?
This can vary depending on the child’s goals, strengths, challenges, and interests. Sessions may include use activities such as games, books, toys, direct teaching, structured tasks. The SLP provides feedback, adjusts activities as needed, and monitors progress towards goals. Caregiver communication is included to ensure strategies can be continued beyond the session.
