Our Process
We guide families through a three-step journey to support your child’s communication skills
Consultation
Let’s start the conversation with a free 15 minute consultation! Reach out to our speech-language pathologist by filling out our "Contact" form, through email, or by phone to discuss any questions or concerns about your child’s speech and language development. We’re happy to help you determine if our services are the right fit. Please allow up to 5 business days for email responses.
Assessment
Personalized evaluation of your child’s speech and/or language using a combination of formal and informal assessments, parent interviews, and play-based observations. Sessions typically last 75–90 minutes, allowing us to understand your child’s unique strengths and areas for growth in communication.
Treatment
Engaging therapy sessions designed to collaboratively set meaningful goals that support your child’s unique speech and language development.
Our Areas of Practice
Speech Sounds
Supporting the acquisition and use of speech sounds, based on knowing sounds develop over time, with all speech sounds developing typically by age 7.
Early Intervention
Helping children reach early language milestones through caregiver-coaching, building connection, and play. This includes extra support for: late talkers, using word combinations, and other early communication milestones.
Gestalt Language Development
Helping families navigate different ways their children may be developing language.
Receptive Language
Building skills related to understanding language and how children follow directions, understand questions, and comprehend grammar and vocabulary.
Expressive Language
Strengthening the use of language to communicate our thoughts, needs, and wants with others. This includes the vocabulary we use, the way we combine words to create sentences, grammar, word finding, and organization of ideas in telling stories.
Service Pricing
Our speech-language pathology services are billed at $150 per hour. This rate applies to assessments, treatment sessions, and additional requested documentation including reports, summaries, and letters of support. Every session booked includes 15 minutes of indirect time for planning and documentation.
